When faced with multiple job offers, would it better to pick brand-name organisations OR pick an organisation which is less established but could provide a better work/learning experience?
Will prospective employers like to see brand-name companies listed on your CV or a string of lesser-known companies (but maybe you learnt a lot)?

Unfortunately recruiters/ applicant scanning software will pay more attention to brand name companies and you will have a better chance with a foot in the door for interviews. Whether you get recruited later on depends on your performance at the actual interview. If you are relatively young and at the start of your career, having brand names in your resume will help in the trajectory of your career path. However, it does not guarantee you will enjoy working there as sometimes, less established companies might offer you a better working environment which you thrive in.

In many cases, the brand name matters more. When people are hiring, the first thing they look in terms of your experience is your job title and name of your company.

In terms of short-term benefit, a brand-name organisation will likely offer a higher salary, better benefits, and more job stability. this can be quite attractive, remember that these organisations may not provide as much room for career growth or learning opportunities.
On the other hand, an organisation which is less established could give you more access to new technologies, allow you to work closely with senior staff, and open up unique learning experiences. Although this path may be riskier due to the fact that the organisation’s future is uncertain, it could potentially lead to bigger rewards down the line.
