While I wouldn't advocate sabotaging anyone, your employer can be held liable for your actions as an employee. This stems from a legal concept called vicarious liability. This means that the corporate entity is responsible for certain actions that its employees perform in the course of work.

Example: You're a delivery driver, working for a logistics company. While driving your van to deliver goods to customers, you knock down someone who's crossing the street. Both you, and your company, can be sued by the injured pedestrian.

It's perhaps helpful to bear in mind that if your employer is held liable for something that you did, you're unlike to escape liability too. Here's a guide for further reading on vicarious liability.

If you eventually run your own business (and hopefully your employees don't get you into trouble), consider taking on Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Insurance. This will protect you against lawsuits filed personally against you, such as when your employees try to sabo you(!)

Its not saboing if your boss breaks the law...
