Can you explain what robo advisors are about in the first place? I am a complete newbie and I thought robo advisors are tools to help people test the water for investing

Basically, traditional investment requires human in making the judgement. Robo advisor to put in simple terms, you put the money there and let the Robo do the job.

I recommend, if you are starting with Robo advisor, you can consider between Syfe (equity 100 or REITs+) or stashaway.

I will suggest for with syfe if you don't have much capital, go with stashaway if you have more $ because the highest fee for stashaway is 0.8, the lowest is 0.2 whereas syfe is 0.6 to 0.4.
