Noon qns - If I am flying from Canada to Singapore (single/ round), can I buy Singapore Travel Insurance eg. FWD for the trip? Or do I need to buy a local Travel Insurance from Canada since Canada is my departing country? I asked as I was given the impression that you only buy insurance from the country you are flying from. Then again I have heard otherwise, so not sure which is right.
P.S: Canada travel insurance are ex, costs $100+, if I can get Sg insurance, why not then!

For most travel insurance, the departing and arrival country needs to be in Singapore.
Check the terms of the insurance contract for the full details.
