Hi there,

Hospitalisation policies are renewable for as long as you live, and cannot be terminated on the basis of you claiming on the policy. If you have to claim, there no way around it, thats the whole point of insurance.

If there was a termination, the story might not have been complete. I have heard of cases where during the underwriting process, underlying conditions were not declared, subsequently they were found out. At that point, the insurer has a right to terminate the policy, due to non-disclosure with regards to the onboarding process.

Rest assured, as long your policy was incepted on good grounds, and your premiums are paid, your policy should last your lifetime.

Hope i was able to shed some insight!
