I’m a 27 year old male, non smoking. I have a Term Life plan. TPD and Death coverage up to 500k. Early Critical Illness and Late Stage Critical Illness coverage up to 250k. Hospital Plan (Integrated Shield Plan) up to Ward A with Rider covering up to 95% of bills. Coverage Duration for all would be till 65 years old. Premiums paid per annum about $1500. Are the premiums paid reasonable? Or could there be cheaper and better alternatives?

There are cheaper options. I'm assuming the early and advance CI is the same $250k, not a total of $500k. $1,243/year

Hi anon,
Let me offer a difference perspective instead of looking at your situation based on price.
Ask yourself what coverage you need first, how much, and how long you need it for.
Definitely, you'll need an integrated shield plan. The question is whether you prefer coverage for private hospitals or are content with government hospital coverage
Likewise, you'll need CI cover, but the question is how much you need, for how long, and whether you want to be covered for early stage CI. When it comes to CI, different people have different opinions on what scope coverage they want, and whether they want to be covered for life, this is a matter of personal preference and you might want to give some thought to that. Then you'll be able to know what type of plan may suit your needs (term or whole life)
Based on those needs, you'll be able to see whether what you have is cost effective or not, by looking at quote across various insurers.
