With gov subsidies of 75%, our co decided to allow us to wfh on selected days but not fully, as gov did not cover 100% of my co's pay, plus there is the ER CPF which my co needs to fork out. We are working about 10+ days in a month, and the remaining days are taken from AL. If AL is insufficient, it becomes negative(to be deducted from pay when we quit).
Not sure if this arrangement is normal instead of proration? MOM website says that if EE pay drops > 25%, ER needs to report to MOM.

During this covid19, i have see clients being ask to take annual leave... take paycuts or even worse...retrenchment...
With no revenue, employers have no choice and u cant blame them to take some action...employers are business owner, profit driven...at least u are still in the company...after covid 19 is over, u are back to work...back to receive your pay.
Those who got retrenched, they have to look for jobs, which probably be challenging..
Hope covid19 end fast...

A lot of business are on borrowed time and is close to closing and bankruptcies.
businesses that are forcing staff to go on annual leave, my guess is that they are victims too.
If we force them, maybe we won't even have our jobs anymore.βββ
