Can apply both SBF and BTO in the same year?

My fiancee and I are currently thinking of applying for a BTO/SBF. I know that we can't apply for both at the same time but how about in the same year?

Since I can only apply for SBF in May, was thinking if it is possible since the BTO that we wanted will be in Aug 2021

Yeap, just now for the same launch e.g. you cannot ballot for BTO and SBF together for the past Feb 2021 launch, it has to be one or the other

Yup, you can apply for BTO after as long as your SBF was unsuccessful or was rejected.

SBF is basically the same as BTO just that the units are a pool of unsold BTO and units sold back to hdb
