50:50 for us in a joint account but he leaves it to me to handle all the finances. in terms of non-financial contribution, he takes a more proactive role in the household chores while i handle the kid

I have a similar situation like Elijah's. My wife and I contribute an equal amount every month - and the money in our joint account is to be used for experiences and material things like staycations and digitally locked doors respectively. My wife is king - she says she wants to use the joint account money - and I nod my head yes. Haha

All our money in the same account. That means the expenditure is apportitioned in percentage according to our income. I earn about 75% of the total income. so I am paying 75% of the expense.
