Hi all, I'm thinking of terminating my Citibank credit card as it no longer fit my finance requirements (high annual fees). After years and years of spending on this credit card, I have amassed a significant amount of thankyou points and would like to seek ideas on how to best redeem/spend these points to ensure I fully maximise it's value. Any ideas to share?

Value is what you put on it.

If you're someone who doesn't travel much / doesn't enjoy travelling, then miles might not mean as much as cashback / redeeming shopping vouchers / F&B vouchers.

What was your initial reason for applying for this particular Citibank credit card? perhaps that might give you a direction as to how to best redeem/spend these points.

Usually such points have the most value when converted to miles to redeem...

Its more worthit to redeem vouchers (probably you will use them). if not, just use it to offset your bills (though not as good), but better than nth. but any reason why you are thinking of cancelling? I'm actually having this tot as well because i rarely use it nowadays.
