Hey there! I was doing the same research yesterday for my own trip planning.
- Instarem Amaze Card
(You can sign up with my referral if this comment helps you :) Will get you a bonus 75 Instapoints. https://www.instarem.com/invite/X9xswe)
If you have existing Mastercard credit or debit cards, Instarem Amaze will be my first pick. I ordered one myself yesterday. It allows you to link to up to 5 of your Mastercard credit / debit cards, and instead of requiring you to top up a wallet and have money locked in there (like YouTrip).
Benefits: No FCY fees. Exchanged at close to existing mid-market rates. Changes directly to your credit card so you can earn the rewards that your existing credit card offers. Gives 1% cashback on top of your own credit card rewards.
Understand that you're looking for prepaid, but if that's a flexible requirement, I personally love Amaze's proposition better.
(Worth adding that there are articles online that think that Amaze is a loophole that banks might include in their credit card exclusions list, because it's currently too good a deal for consumers. Would recommend signing up for it now - referral code above - to milk this hack more before banks take action.)
- YouTrip
If you still are more interested in prepaid, the one I've been using for years will be YouTrip.
Will recommend it as well, though I will much prefer not having to have my money locked in their prepaid wallet. Also doesn't come with Amaze's 1% cashback bump! But they have many perks and offers for YouTrip users if that's your cup of tea.
Hope this helps!
