Depends on what is affordable to you?
I work in CBD - will go to hawker centres and coffee shops for coffee - range $1-$1.40. Occassional Ya Kun - $2.20.
Places I frequent:
Worked in Raffles place before, also quite competitive - lots of kopi/teh options below $2.
Cheaper options ($1 or below) - definitely is go fairprice or online buy instant 3-in-1, ownself make teh/kopi in office pantry or at home.

If you want cheap kopi, there's lots of options. Amoy is a good one.
It has traditional Kopi, and if you want latte all, theres Coffee break.
If you want like strong coffee, but they don't charge you 1.50 for ice, Parallel Cafe is some good stuff. I remember paying 3.90 for my Ice latte and I think black coffee is around 2++.
