Realised my UOB One card has “schools” listed under exclusion list. Just wanna ask if there are recommended alternatives to use for these school fees for casback? Each payment around 3.9k to 4.9k.

Hi Nic,
Unfortunately, schools are excluded from almost all credit card rewards programs. Some alternatives I can think of include the following:
UOB Absolute card. This is UOB's latest cashback credit card that supposedly gives 1.7% cashback on 'absolutely' all expenses. The drawback is that this card is AMEX and not VISA/MasterCard, which some merchants may not accept. You can check it out to see if they will award cashback on school payments. If your University doesn't accept AMEX, a workaround is to top up your Grabpay MasterCard with the UOB Absolute card to get 1.7% cashback, then pay for the school fees with your Grabpay card. They are running a sign up bonus now if I'm not wrong, so it could be worth checking out!
Citi PayAll. This is Citibank's payment facility that gives rewards for payments that normally won't earn rewards (ie schools) for an admin fee and is applicable with cards like Citi PM/Citi ULTIMA. However, these cards are miles cards and not cashback cards, so if you're only interested in cashback, this may not be for you.
Hope this helps & all the best!
