Best Credit Card Strategy for Paying for Wedding Banquet in 2023?

Hi all, not really a fan of miles card, but seems to be the way to go for banquet?

Any tips for this?

Also, do miles expire, and do I have to keep paying the annual fees for the miles? Just worried that I dont clock enough miles and end up not being able to redeem it -- newbie at miles here!

I know Citibank Premiermiles gives miles that never expire.
But then, look out for new sign up promo of the different cards
