Best 3-4 year endowment plans?

My family just received some insurance money and my mother wants to leave about $50k in some kind of endowment plant for 3 to 4 years.

We won't be touching the money at all. Which plan offers the best interest rate right now? Thank you!

If you can afford a slightly longer lock-in period, you can consider eEasy Save V.

Etiqa eEASY save V is a non-participating life insurance savings plan. For a lock-in period of 6 years, it provides a guaranteed 2.68% p.a return and 0.6% loyalty bonus at the end of the 6 years, provided no withdrawal was made.

This is a great option if you are saving for a big-ticket item in a short period. With low-interest rates for bank deposit accounts and high volatility in the financial market, Etiqa eEASY save V is definitely a safe and attractive option you can consider.

Hi anon,

You may consider Etiqa eSave advance which has a guaranteed crediting of 1.8% for 3 years. Etiqa enrich harvest has a higher crediting but you'll need to hold 6 years to maximize the returns which might be a bit too long.

NTUC recently launched one with 1.96% p.a. for 3 years but I think it's pretty much sold out now as the tranche is quite limited.

Such plans come along once every few months but with dropping interest rates, the returns will be lower for newer plans.
