Besides cost, what other factors to consider when choosing unit trust?

For me, i will choose with payout preferably monthly.

Why?
1) unit trust famous for it lower growth( due to high expense ratio), relatively to stocks. However, some UT have better growth than bond. So i buy UT for cashflow. And i dont buy bond.

2) SG stocks got quarterly, half yearly, yearly dividend payout. But no monthly. Thus UT fill the gap.
