Hi, I have been considering going for blood donation recently. I was just wondering besides the altruistic benefits of saving people's lives, are there any financial benefits of donating blood regularing in Singapore? I have heard some rumors from people that regular blood donors get free polyclinic visits and medicine etc. but I am doubtful whether this is true. Please share your opinions. Thank you.

Maybe some intangible benefits like change of luck / gain some karma points ?

My mom who has been donating for 30+ years also has the donor card that allowed her free polyclinic visits and to jump queue as well. I've been donating regularly for the past 10 years but I don't have. :)

Get a free snack or a souvenir at the end of donation. no more free visits or priority queues....

I do recall people saying that there will be priority should you require the blood bank someday (of course hope we dont need it)
