Beginner buying CSPX via IBKR.

Do i deposit SGD to my account and let IBKR convert to USD? Or do i deposit USD directly?

It depends on the amount that you are going for although IBKR has a good exchange rate.

For funding your account, better to deposit in SGD because IBKR exchange rate is good. You do need to manually convert to USD first before buying CSPX.

You can convert in IBKR but they charge a fee per transation so not recommended for small amounts...
