Depends on job nature and demand-supply.
If job nature is project-based, it could be possible to do 4 day work week. Possible also to squeeze 2 hrs into the 4 days 8hrs work too.
If job always short of manpower, long operating hours (12h-24h), front-facing/customer service/service industry, likely will cause additional cost to company. Effectively, by granting 4 day work week to existing workforce, they will need to hire more people i.e. higher cost.
