Personally, I feel must be above 5 k to be financially comfortable for planning retirement.

It should first meet median household income by my salary, so I should be above average. Then when I feel most finanially comfortable or achievement is earning more than HDB BTO income ceiling.

around S$4,000 to S$5,000 a month for me to no need to stress with count...
