I did care at the early 30s to slowly do RSTU so that I can play the shielding game and consider ERS. That's the first option I have, second option is to retire earlier at 50s or late 50s as I had clocked finish the minimum sum of FRS probably just by my SA alone.

Depending on how you want to game it, but RSTU is worth it, as for most people whom deployed this strategy can always withdraw the excess at 55 years old once RA is formed and CPF life planning kicks in.
