The beauty of long term investing is just that obe doesn"t need to listen/watch market news (= noise)

If he is a long-term investor whom had alr done his/her homework prior to buying the stocks, then there's no need for him/her to keep track of all the news aka noises on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

A quarterly basis would adequately suffice
