As a first time investor, would you suggest FSMOne RSP for Vanguard S&P 500 or buying ETFs without a RSP?

FSMOne are nice and decent people, however nowadays you can easily and cheaper manage it all by yourself.

It wld be better to go for the Irish domibled version to save on dividend tax, fsm is not as good just because they have extra dividend charges on US stocks. I would suggest CSPX or VUAA.

Alternatively if you're looking for growth there are a few etfs which are not bad and don't give dividends on fsm like OGIG and FDN
