There are too many nuances not covered in the article. There are many reasons for delayed retirement. This is a huge topic for discussion which I rather not go into it. Just bear in mind that this article, written by an insurance company, is driven in the direction that an insurance company wants, which is to get you to sign up its ILPs or what's not.
