Hi anon,
I'd stay out of commodities in general. It's very very volatile as you can tell. Allocate a small proportion if you must, but prepare to lose everything.
I do have clients who trade commodities like precious metals, but it's really not easy to enter and exit. You need to be as emotionless as possible and make the crucial call to buy or sell off.
