Are US bank stocks a good buy and hold strategy for 24 years?

1) Warren buffet has said that banks will be worth much more in the future as interest rates will rise.

2) since 2008, banks have undergone many stress test to ensure they have the strength to withstand financial downturns.

Any thoughts on the good and bad of bank shares?

Sure, maybe the best one, advantageously packed together as 'gestalt' of VOO

(China could have market dominance before 09.06.2044, however)
