Are the benefits of this OCBC Best Denki card mostly geared towards Best Denki store purchases or is it still beneficial when buying from other electronics and appliance stores?

Yes the benefits are mostly geared towards Best Denki (but the deals are actually really good) but there are also features that are for general spendings.

Benefits for Best Denki purchases include 12% BEST rewards = 3% cash rebate with no minimum amount of spending required. Also, you can get up to 2.5% cash rebates if you spend more than $20,000 annually at BEST Denki specifically. One of the features I find especially attractive for this card would be the Safety 5 Premium Warranty Programme - you pay only 16% of the purchase price with more coverage and a 5 year extended warranty. If you will be buying many bulky appliances for your house, they even provide free delivery if you spend a minimum of $200 on a single recipt (i think $200 for big items is pretty reasonable)

so only if you are planning to get a lot of things from best then get this card but if not, there are many other cards that can gain you better deals
