Are roboadvisors safe for us to put our money in since they are not the same as banks when you do RSP?

What would be some risks and concerns? How would you go about mitigating it?

Hi, different platforms have different risk profile!

Even though all platforms claim that the customers assets are segregated from the platforms own asset, it need not necessarily mean that they are equally safe.

For Endowus and some of our peers, our customer's assets are custodised in their own legal name at the custodian bank level.

This is different from certain platforms where the customer's assets are custodised in a joint account name at the custodian bank level. But that is avoidable because some of these platforms want customers to invest in very small denominations, and because they are using ETFs, the assets have to be pooled for investors to get fractional shares.
