Credit Cards

Applying for Credit Card. Earning 5k+ gross per month. But may be tendering soon.

Dear community,

I'm currently earning 5k+ gross monthly before CPF deduction. But I'm looking into tendering soon to take up a freelance project overseas. I have never owned a credit card in my life but I might wish to get one before I head overseas for work.

Would I be facing any issues in applying for one and renewing of the card subsequently?

After tendering I will be working as a freelance. But I have registered a sole proprietorship business in Singapore already.

My advice : Apply now and start a banking / credit card relationship with the various banks before you tender your resignation !!!

Good to go if you're able to manage your finance well.

Go for it and please use credit cards going forward from now on.

Apply while you still have your job then. no issues with renewal thereafter as long as your payments...
