Taking on extra workload for just a 10% increment that eats into my side hustle time, which makes up 40% of my active earnings, reducing my overall returns. Not a good deal.

I only care about total returns not climbing corporate ladder.

Some colleague say i have a short term mindset, without having a full picture what i am actually building. 😆

I haven’t personally, but I can totally see why someone would turn down a promotion if the extra pay doesn’t make up for the added stress, responsibility, and people management.
