I do have a small portion invested in this just for the fun of it.

Life stage

Dividend returns are not priority for me as I still have some runway before arriving at retirement.

Sacrifice of growth potential

Dividend stocks sacrifices growth for a stable payouts and it can never beat the return from year on year growth from growth stocks. If you are all in on this at a point in your life where you have a long runway, the opportunity cost will be something that yoh want to consider.

Thanks for the reply. I have the AM SGD monthly dividend. Bought about 100k when it was around $7.0X. I don't mind little growth as I am interested in the dividend. Long term wise do you think it is a good investment? Do you know why has the dividend dropped and will it go back up?

There are 3 version: AM, AMG2 & ACC

AM have the highest dividend, AMG2 slightly lower divide...
