Anyone invested in TSMC? I bought 10 stocks at 118 and I kind of regret it now due to the rising geopolitical tensions between China and Taiwan.

Do you guys think there's a potential to hit 140 again? or will it drop to below 100?

Long TSMC, once it start mass producing 5nm, 3nm and 1nm over the next few years, fabs in US & Japan finish building, its gonna leave Samsung and Intel in the dust. If TSMC dropped further, I am going to load up.

You really think the US is gonna let China takeover Taiwan? their F-35 also happen to run on chips. Apple & AMD just pre-ordered all/bulk of TSMC's 3nm process chips

If you are worried about geopolitical tensions, then perharps you had not done enough due diligence understand the company that you are investing

Tensions between China and Taiwan are always there as long as DPP is in power. TSMC share price is determined more by supple/demand of their chips. And semiconductor sector is cyclical in nature. It certainly has potential to rise and fall to prices along its long term CAGR trend line.
