Anyone holding US dividends stocks? Why you want to keep them and be subjected to dividends tax? Is it because the tax are insignificant to the potential profit you can get?

Stock that I bought one year ago, are all losing in value, however I'm getting dividends from it. I intend to keep them for longer-term because I'm quite young. Do I hold, as observing all stocks, they tend to rebound back after some years?

Does capital gains or dividends we earn gets taxed when we are investing in the US market (eg Tesla, square, coca cola) here from Singapore ? Will our profits be taxed if we sold off the shares of 20 years?
