Anyone heard of FDM group?

Considering a career in tech because of interests and prospects, but thoroughly lack competency as of now. Got approached by an FDM recruiter for their grad program where they basically train fresh grads with no tech background then deploy them to clients (mostly banks/financial services). Seems like a great opportunity at first glance, but catches are:
2 year contract
Low base pay (get daily bonus pay for each day you are attached to client - but not guaranteed).

After 2 years, there is chance to remain at the client's company (subject to headcount), continue as a Senior role in FDM, or leave. Did some research about them and found many negative things about them online, not sure if I should continue with them.

Does anyone have any experience with FDM? Would love to hear what it's like firsthand. If I really want to pursue a career in tech, would I be better off continuing with FDM, or doing courses + studying on my own to hopefully get a job?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hey OP, I interviewed with them a few years back.

I didn’t accept their offer in the end so I don’t know the rigour of their training/program. From what I’ve heard from friends who accepted, training wise is not too bad, at least it’s structured and would definitely be helpful if you don’t know how to start and where to start.

Prospects wise also kinda mix because it would depend on which client & department you get posted to.

On a side note, if you want to pad your resume with a brand name company, then maybe you wanna go for the really tech ones.
