Seems like a neat community (aka people who have money since the founders are sons of tycoons?) to talk NFTs and crypto.
Here's the catch (imo, could always be wrong): Why are they being so altruistic in creating a community for like minded people to connect and bond? "The business of business is business" - Milton Friedman
Unless proven otherwise, with NFT projects you should default assume that the incentives are always financial in nature (aka money). Call it occupational hazard but 95% of NFT projects seek to take your money with the pre-text of 'utility'. I think that what is likely to happen is that they (probably) have access to a network of influencers or are influencers themselves; Once they have an idea of an NFT project, they can easily set it up and market it (easy to go viral via TikTok); just a simple 0.1 ETH * 10,000 unique = 1000 ETH.
10 person project = 100 ETH (170k) each. Sorry but that's 3 years my salary. I hope you get what I'm trying to imply.
