How much can you make monthly or annually as a seller on these platforms? Is it a feasible career choice or more of a side-hustle?

There are various factors that contribute to the profit that you can make, e.g. cost price, overhead, commission, marketing.
In most cases, the bulk of the profit depends on the value of the item that you can attract the buyer to buy at. For instance, the cost price is $1 but you can command a selling value at $100. At the same time, the total cost in the transaction is $20. As a result, this is a profitable business.
However, if the cost price is $1 but you can only command a selling value at $10, then this business is not sustainable.
Therefore, you need to know what you are selling and how you intend to create a successful marketing campaign to help you achieve your goals.

My main business is ecommerce so I guess I can safely say that ecommerce can be small or big, its really up to you.
Every big thing starts from small.
I say gross margin for overseas goods (china) can be as much as 60%. Local suppliers shld be only net 40% or less.
Net margin after accounting for commission, staff costs, packaging costs etc etc should be 20-30%
It can be a side hustle till you scale and make things professional. There are many local big sellers in Qoo10/Lazada/Shopee that gross 7 figures per year.
