Anyone else think Singsaver rewards is crap now? Signed up for a citibank card through singsaver and wanted to redeem the $300 paynow reward. But after 90 days got rejected.?
The duration from successful application through singsaver and approval from bank to rewards collection is max 90 days. Fair enough, it's covid season and applications take time. It's close to 90 days and I message them and they tell me it may still be under processing. After the 90 days is up they tell me it has been verified and will be fulfilled. A minute later, they say it's rejected and I need to check with the bank because it why it got rejected is confidential to the bank. Wtf?

There's a lot of these and their reviews out there including moneysmart. I always feel 'if banks cannot offer such incentives for sign ups, why do these companies can?'. Best to go with bank rewards.

So many years on, now in 2024 and Singsaver is still at it. Finding whatever reasons to not fulfil their end of the bargain. Got a CIMB card last year with promised gift of a Sony headphone. Accumulated the expenditure, but got rejected for the gift 4 months later, and only after numerous enquiries. Amounts to scam.
