Working with a few, my short feedback:
Q: Do clients actually appreciate an IFA more?
A: Yes, only if you appreciate the VALUE an independent financial adviser (IFA) brings to their financial journey. IFAs provide personalized advice and tailored financial solutions based on individual client goals and circumstances. I value the expertise, guidance, and holistic approach that an IFA offers, as it helps me make informed decisions and optimize my financial portfolios based on their suggestions.
Q: How common is it to make a sustainable career out of being an IFA?
A: Making a sustainable career as an IFA is achievable, but it requires dedication, continuous learning, and a strong focus on client service. Success as an IFA is often built on establishing long-term client relationships and generating referrals through excellent performance and trust. While the financial advisory industry can be competitive, those who consistently deliver value, adapt to changing market conditions, and prioritize client satisfaction can establish a sustainable career as an IFA. I feel personally that the difference is the VALUE that you bring to the table, else why would I want to go with you?
Q: How was it like starting out as an IFA?
A: Can't answer that, since didn't join being an IFA. Just sharing from client perspective.
