I try to wait for sale and before that I decide to see if I really need the items. As for groceries, I bulk buy to get free delivery if I know I will use them.

Have audacious savings goals. Example: I aimed to top up $15300 to my SRS this year. Having this goal in mind made me very conscious about the timeline because I only had twelve months to complete it. If you don't know what you are saving for, it's hard to maintain your motivation. Yes, not embarrassed to admit that whenever I had a spare $10-20, I transferred it to my SRS acct PROMPTLY.
My long-term saving goal is to make a 💯 Voluntaey Housing Refund - and boy, am I hustling now.
I do surveys on apps like Milieu. Whenever I get to cash out, I will shamelessly blast my referral code on my FB page. And sometimes, my friend will take the bait and use my code. Free money FTW! Haha. I have successfully done so for Gemini, Syfe and Cointiply too. No rest for the wicked.
bring your own water bottle when you eat out. Seriously that $5 latte can be eliminated from your life, without much pain haha
