I thought times are bad, but apparently not. My agent left, but now my policies are not handled by any agent. Apparently there was no proper handling over. Why didn't Prudential reassign a new agent before he left? It is at least 2 months now and there is still no updates from Prudential. Luckily not many policies from Prudential.
Also, ex agent now at his new company, is he allow to contact me as his ex customer? he wants to meet and introduce to his new company? We are not friends.

Generally, your insurance agent's manager will assign you to another agent after your agent leaves the insurance company (and not before your agent leaves the company). For this purpose, you may wish to login to the insurer's online portal to see who is the new servicing agent.
Next, by right the new agent will call you to introduce himself (or herself) and to inform you that he (or she) is your new servicing agent.
As to whether your ex-agent is allowed to contact you, this will depend on both of your agreement on the situations when he is allowed to contact you. If you are in doubt, you may wish to contact the insurer to seek proper clarifications. And this includes the assignment of your cases to another agent.

Hi Anonymous,
As Zhe Liang mentioned, by logging in to your PRUaccess account, you will be able to view the newly assigned servicing agent's name.
If you still believe that you do not have a servicing agent and are still looking for one, do contact us via our website or Facebook page, as we have a network of financial advisors to refer.
