I know Japan is still quite big on quantitative easing, so Bonds won't be so attractive, but what about stocks? any to keep an eye on?

Japan is a place for value investors. It is definitely an overlooked market and value investor should looked into that country's stock.
However, I have checked and found some undervalued gem. Although I have yet to invest in any.
The issue is probably requiring google translate of the financials.
