Any part time financial advisors/ insurance agent can share with me their experience? Will your main company find out?

That's gonna be tough - financial advisors / insurance agents depends a lot on strong marketing / word of mouth. To get business you will need online presence and its with online presence that your colleagues from your company might find out. Hard to live a life without worrying whether you will be reported. I would advise against it.
