If your phone is brand X, then you should first take a look at the smartwatch for brand X.

Most if not all of the smartwatch features can be unlocked when both phone and smartwatch are of the same brand.

I use Samsung so if I were to get a smartwatch, I would first take a look at Samsung's offerings.

Other than Samsung, TicWatch seems appealing to me too. But I'm not sure how easy it is to get TicWatch repaired if it breaks down.​​​

Hey Anon! Narrowed my smartwatch picks to Apple SE and Fitbit! Personally went with Apple for compatibility because I've got an iPhone but would've chosen Fitbit otherwise! In particular, the Versa 2 or Versa Lite! :) Long battery life, tracks activities and heart rate, has workouts, notifications (android) etc -- the basic applications you'd like in a smartwatch. Also, it's got a sizeable face and doesn't look too "sporty" and "mismatched" especially when worn to work. If you're on AIA vitality, there's a discount for Fitbit too!
