I am a graduating finance student under Kaplan's partnered university and planning to look for a job in the finance/banking industry. I was looking through all the job postings & noticed that there are limited jobs and majority are graduate programs offered by local and large investment banks which I feel they will not accept someone from Kaplan... Wondering if I should just try and apply despite knowing that chances are slim (or no chance at all). Any advise on other roles? Preference FO>MO>BO

Firstly, never consider yourself any "lesser" than graduates from other universities. This will give you a mindset that everyone has an equal chance of landing a role that they want in the financial sector.
Secondly, cast your net wide and apply to numerous jobs. Getting a job is partly a numbers game. The more jobs you apply for, the higher your chances of getting an interview. Eg. out of every 100 jobs that you apply for, probably 5-8 will get back to you.
Third, once you land that interview, practice a ton. Rehearse with friends, role play with them, and ask them to give you honest feedback. The more comfortable and confident you are at an interview, the higher your chances of landing a role.
Good luck and I wish you great success in finding your desired role.βββ
