if you don't know what you are doing, how you expect the robo to do what you want?

understand the current environment. i bet u heard FD and T-bill are good previously. So what be the next trend. learn the knowledge, it is the best investment u do for urself.

I would ask these questions before deciding on anything:

ā€‹

  1. Do I understand the funds that this roboadvisor is putting money into?
  2. What is my investment horizon?
  3. What is my risk tolerance?

Portfolio being down can elicit different responses here, and it may not always be the wrong answer. If you can answer these questions, you will know whether you even want to invest more, hold or exit.

You are definitely on the wrong path if you think you are going to make money so easily. For the retail investor, investing is a zero sum game. You make money at the expense of another. So to win in this game, you need skills.

I don't know which robo investment in use. But I am sure that you do so because you have not acquired the investing skills. I would look at the robo thing like a calculator. You can use a calculator to add, subtract, etc..But if you cannot translate the problem into an equation, the calculator is no use.

What is the moral of the story? Learn how to invest first.

DCA is long term game. short term can go learn more on trading and buy sell in days/weeks/months. see which strategy works best for u depending on your time available and preference.
