Hi there, no knowledge of coding/programming is needed.

Trading is just like following a set of criterias. For example, if I want to go out for a picnic, I don’t want it to rain. So if it rains, I stay home, if it doesn’t, I go for my picnic irregardless of what people/forecasts say.

There are trading stratergies that are extremely simple and that’s the beauty of it, it’s not meant to be over complicated.

Trading is a huge topic just like investing in itself. It is difficult to share with you everything in 1 reply like this.

You can try Rayner Two’s YouTube. Fantastic for trading both beginners and advanced

Hihi!

First off, are you interested in trading or investing? Those are 2 totally different activities that need to be differentiated. For starters, trading is usually done day to day with a high frequency amount of trades e.g. swing trading whereas investing is about buying and holding for the long-term ( 10 years).

Secondly, learn about investing from Investopedia, YouTube channels, blogs, articles etc. to find out what is the common consensus amongst people who've done it before so that you have a rough compass.

Thirdly, choose a brokerage that fits what you would like to do. The top 3 (or rather the most popular) brokerages at the moment are Interactive Brokers, Tiger Brokers & Moomoo.

Fourthly, start small. The key is to start. Most people will never invest in their entire lifetime because they failed to start. Don't see starting as plunging into the ocean but rather taking a dip into the wading pool. That way you can learn progressively rather than making a rash decision to go big or go home.

Lastly, keep learning. You'll never stop learning about investing/trading & the market is always moving. Change is a constant in life, embrace it and fine tune your skills.

Good luck on your journey. It is very rewarding if you do it right.
