How should a 40 year old start investing for retirement?

40 retire at 55. You have 15years
Basically, my idea is to have Max growth for 15yrs, then passive income when retired. Cashflow is more important when u dont not have any income.
If you are a syfe robo guy. I think equity100 is better. Max gain, max risk. Then after retire change to Reit+ to get passive income.
If you are a DIY. I would think get a 40% VOO, 60% ARKK ETF. Then slowly sell away growth & DCA to SG dividend stocks around 50 years old
