AIA Power Critical Cover vs PruActive Protect?

I am looking for CI and ECI coverage. What are the current thoughts on AIA power critical cover and PruActive Protect (with Early Protect, Early Protect Plus and Protect Plus riders) and their pros and cons? Also, do people normally get the term or whole life plan for the AIA Power Critical Cover?

Altogether, AIA Power Critical Illness covers one of the most number of conditions for critical illness across different stages, i.e. early, intermediate, and major stage. What's more, it includes pre-early conditions too.

For this purpose, one of the most important things to know is the definition for claim. Above all, the Life Insurance Association does not interfere with the insurers for using their own definitions for claims for conditions outside the LIA Critical Illness framework.

Consequently, I will suggest you to look beyond just premium and sum assured for your coverage. Eventually, fulfiling the claim definition will determine whether you will be eligible for a payout and not all definitions are defined the same way.

In your case, I will suggest for you to conduct comprehensive financial planning. This process allows us to determine whether it is more economical to go for the term coverage till age 75, or to cover till age 100. This goes beyond just the basics of financial planning itself.

I share quality content on estate planning and financial planning here.
