Advice on investment for young working adult?

Hi guys,

I have about -50k cash right now and is thinking of where to invest my money. I already have about -15k in Lendlease reit and is subscribing to the POSB investsaver ($200/month for STI ETF) starting this month. Any advice on what I should be doing now? I save about 2k per month. Also I heard that REIT give returns of average 5% at least and if that is the case, why would people still invest in STI when it range from 2.5-3.5%?

Consider VT, VOO, Lion-Phillip S-REIT.

Please, don't buy mutual funds/unit trust, they will not make You happy (fees too high).

Hi!

Investing only in STI will provide low diversification and low returns. You should look at global diversification and more asset classes. This will ensure you have some diversification in your portfolio. You can try using a robo-advisor, which will give you the benefit of global investment opportunities as well as access to a wider range of asset classes.
