Advice needed on my rental situation as the owner?

My tenant is at the end of their 2-year lease and they want to extend their stay for another 60 days.

I would like to know whether it is legal to extend another 60 days in Singapore? What is the due diligence needed?
Is the owner is protected by the leasee/ owner privileges with/without a contract?

Yes, it is legal to extend another 60 days because it is a continuation from the existing lease. If your tenant is a foreigner, the due diligence needed is to check if he/she still have a valid pass.
Yes, your right and interest are protected by the law under equity.
